Promoting Health and Wellness Workshop: The Basics – March 8, 9:30 – 3:30 p.m.  Eastern Health Community Services, Mount Pearl Square.

This is a fun workshop and is a great way to get you started in promoting health and wellness in your community or to enhance the work you’re already doing. Topics covered include the definition and principles of health promotion/wellness, the determinants of health, and action planning. Helpful stuff when planning wellness activities or writing proposals for wellness grants.

Register by calling 752-4907. Lunch is provided. Please advise of any food allergies when registering. Deadline for registration is March 2nd.

This workshop is free and open firstly to members of the Wellness Coalition-Avalon East and then non-member community groups located in the Avalon east region.
